Dr. Muddukrishnaiah Kotakonda, Director of Pharma Science Biotechnology Research Centre (PSBRC), is a highly accomplished scientist and academic leader with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Anna University. With a strong educational foundation, including a gold medal from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University for his outstanding performance in M. Pharm, Dr. Kotakonda brings extensive expertise in antimicrobial drug discovery, nanoformulations, marine biotechnology, and pharmaceutical research.

His professional journey spans roles as Professor, Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellow, and Research Scholar across reputed institutions, giving him a well-rounded perspective in academia and research. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and contributed to several nanotechnology, drug delivery, and biotechnology book chapters.

Dr. Kotakonda has received numerous prestigious awards and fellowships, including the ICMR Senior Research Fellowship, ICGEB Travel Grant, and the Royal Microscope Society (UK) Travel Grant. Under his visionary leadership, PSBRC bridges academic research and industrial practice, empowering the next generation of scientists.

Mr. Prasad Sunnapu is a PhD Research Scholar at Jadavpur University and formerly served as an Assistant Professor in pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry. His scholarly work focuses on therapeutic chemistry-based research, with strong engagement in projects that bridge academia and industry.

As a CSIR Direct Senior Research Fellow (SRF), he has secured prestigious funding and contributed to advanced research in drug design and formulation development. He continues to expand his publication record in peer-reviewed journals.

At PSBRC, Mr. Sunnapu leverages his strong research background and teaching experience to mentor students, guiding them in cutting-edge pharmaceutical and biotechnological investigations.
